NUBIA

Nubia began playing the cello at the age of six and went on to complete studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in the UK. An award-winning cellist, Nubia has received numerous honors in Japan and abroad, including Second Prize of the Yokohama International Music Competition.

Alongside a distinguished performing career, Nubia is also a prolific composer and lyricist, having created more than 1,000 works for anime, video games, VTubers, and Broadway-stage productions.

Nubia further demonstrates creative range as a scriptwriter and director for voice-actor reading stage productions featuring renowned talents such as Yuki Kaji (Eren Yeager, Attack on Titan), Yoshino Nanjo (Eli Ayase, Love Live!), and Emiri Kato (Kyubey, Puella Magi Madoka Magica).


The original IP “Corpse Reviver,” for which Nubia serves as scriptwriter and overall producer, sold out all tickets within 40 minutes of release, highlighting strong momentum in cross-media development.

Currently, Nubia performs as the cellist of the Japanese–Western string unit 3x4xS (SA-SHI-SU), a Tsugaru shamisen × cello duo whose releases have reached No.1 on the iTunes charts in five countries, with three music videos surpassing one million views. Nubia is also an active member of con TIKI, the band led by Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.
