To report an incident, please alert a member of the OTAKU WORLD  Team, we will deal with the issue there and then. You will need to write out a short description of what took place and who was involved. If needed the police will be called.

If you suffer from any sort of anxiety or panic attacks, please seek out Natasha. She is versed with dealing with these problems. She will be most likely located at the Pop-up stall or the arts and crafts area. Alternatively, you can inform any member of staff and they will escort you to her.

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Stalking

  • Harassing photography or recording

  • Intimidation

  • Sustained disruption of Panels or other events

  • Offensive verbal comments

  • Bathroom policing

  • Physical assault

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Battery

  • Unwelcome physical attention

 

In relation to, but not limited to:

  • Appearance

  • Gender identity

  • Religion

  • Gender presentation

  • Citizenship

  • Sexual orientation

  • Pregnancy

  • Race

  • Age

  • Colour

  • Body size

  • National origin

  • Disability

  • Gender

If a person engages in harassing behaviour, OTAKU WORLD staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from OTAKU WORLD EVENTS with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the event. Exhibitors,  Attendees, Speakers, Guests, Professionals, Press, Staff, Volunteers, and Security are all subject to our anti-harassment policy and will be held to the same standards and disciplinary action.

 

 

If you are subject to unwanted photos by other attendees, please report this to a member of staff.
