The plot thickens as Colonel Shissoji reveals a new monster sighting and recruits Asa and Kasuga for a secret mission to protect the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Meanwhile, Asa's friend Keiichi Nakaido investigates his mentor's research into the mysterious creature, and the younger Asada children are protected by Kinuyo from bullies, even as the youngest insists he remembers the monster from the typhoon. The monster reappears near Sagami Bay, just before the Olympics begin.
