the 1964 Tokyo Olympics are threatened by a mysterious monster that has resurfaced in Sagami Bay, prompting Asa and her allies to work with the military to develop a plan to stop it. Meanwhile, Asa is dealing with personal conflicts, including being pressured by her friend Yone to go to Tokyo for a singing audition, and witnessing her younger brother Koshichi claim to have seen the monster.
