Naofumi is summoned to another world to serve as the Shield Hero. After a long struggle, he finally succeeds in exacting punishment on the king and princess Myne, the ones who framed him, and makes it widely known that the accusations were false. Then following a meeting with the other heros and his party's class-up ceremonines, Naofumi and crew set out for the Cal Mira islands to continue leveling up. There they meet the mysterious young man LArc Berg, but things are not quite what they seem!
