SYNTHONIE is an award-winning sci-fi music act combining original electronic music,
gaming culture, anime influences, immersive visuals and cutting-edge technology into a unique live experience.
Recognised through an Arts Council England Global Talent endorsement, SYNTHONIE performs using the custom-built Musitar – a futuristic instrument that allows entire worlds of sound to be performed live from a single controller.

Drawing inspiration from video games, science fiction, cyberpunk and space exploration, each performance takes audiences on a journey through cinematic soundscapes, electronic rock anthems and futuristic worlds.
The project has appeared at major events including MCM Comic Con, EGX London,
Gamescom, Zurich Game Show and Worldcon, while also delivering more than 100 VR
music workshops across schools, youth organisations and cultural venues.
Suitable for conventions, festivals, student unions, technology events, music venues and public events.
OPTION 1 – SYNTHONIE LIVE EXPERIENCE
30–60 minute live performance featuring the custom-built “Musitar”, original music and immersive sci-fi visuals. Suitable for conventions, festivals, student unions, technology events and music venues.
Requirements:
• HDMI connection for visuals
• 2 DI boxes (stereo audio)
Optional: Stage lighting and haze/smoke effects recommended for maximum visual
impact.
OPTION 2 – VR MUSIC WORKSHOP
60-minute interactive workshop where participants create music in Virtual Reality.
No musical experience is required. Ideal for schools, colleges, universities, conventions, student unions and technology events.

• Audio connection to venue sound system
OPTION 3 – VR MUSIC WORKSHOP + LIVE CONCERT
60-minute VR Music Workshop
followed by 60-minute SYNTHONIE Live Performance
A combination of technology, creativity and entertainment, allowing audiences to
experience both VR music creation and a full live concert.
